Position Summary:
This person reports directly to the president, and is responsible for the recruitment of all students. The Admissions Director manages all aspects of admissions, including but not limited to, international recruitment, working with international agents, scholarship applications, notifying families of acceptance, the school website, and marketing to different constituents for the purpose of recruiting students, especially boarding.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Direct and manage admission programs for recruitment and enrollment.
- Collaborate with the Principal and Residence Life Director to understand, report, and improve student retention.
- Develop strategic goals and actions to achieve target enrollment.
- Build an ongoing list of international agents to recruit to MH-MA.
- Organize and promote alumni gatherings in different locations to inspire them to market MH-MA to potential families.
- Plan and organize admission events and receptions for prospective students and families.
- Manage the CRM database for admissions.
- Manage the upkeep of the website, particularly for recruiting students.
- Create social media posts for the purpose of recruiting students, especially boarders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with constituents, including partner schools, and professional consultants.
- Coordinate scholarships and financial aid for all students.
- Create, implement, and report on annual goals, objectives, and a plan of action for attracting and retaining students.
- Manage the daily operations of the admission office, including budget, database, files, correspondence, and mailings.
- Collaborate closely with the residence director on new students, visa/passport coordination, and retention.
- Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the head of school.
- Serve as a team member of the administrative team.
- Supervise clerical staff and work study students, appropriate to the position.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with school admissions
- A person of great integrity and strong work ethic
- Ability to create and implement effective strategies to recruit students
- Preferably a practicing Catholic
- A welcoming person with a strong moral compass
- Ability to manage admissions software
- A self-starter that can lead others to help achieve admissions goals
- An individual who is able to communicate the school’s mission and values

- Administrative Assistant
Maur Hill - Mount Academy is seeking qualified applicants for an operations administrative assistant reporting directly to the school principal. The successful candidate will work daily from 7:10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Primary responsibilities include: a demonstrated ability to manage front office communications with multiple stakeholder groups, prioritize work and workflows, maintain databases, and manage written communication and internal reporting. Desired skills include: excellent communication skills, managing multiple prior. Compensation is competitive and based upon qualifications and experience. - Residence Life Prefects (2nd and 3rd Shift)
Maur Hill - Mount Academy seeks qualified applicants for residence hall prefects. Under general supervision, in coordination with the residence life director and other residence hall staff, the prefect guides and supports the development of life skills; works with students to increase strong and positive academic strategies; ensures a safe, healthy, and rewarding experience for all Maur Hill - Mount Academy boarding students. This position maintains flexible hours and works four to eight hour shifts typically from 3:00 to 11:30 p.m. and/or from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (or parts thereof). Hour structure varies on the weekends. Staff members provide direct and ongoing supervision, support, and instruction to all students while assisting in the coordination of day-to-day operations of the residence halls.
